Sesame Cucumber Sriracha Burger

Covered in kimchi and Sriracha, this spicy Asian-inspired burger will have you gasping for breath and reaching for more from the first bite!

Ingredients

Pounds Lean Ground Beef

Tablespoon Sriracha

Cup Soy Sauce
1/2
Cucumber, Julienne
1
Cup Carrot, Julienne
1
Tablespoon Sesame Oil
1/2
Tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Tablespoon Ponzu
1
Cup Kimchi
Salt and Pepper

Directions

  • Add the ground beef, sriracha, 1/2 of the soy sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper to a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Once incorporated, form 4 burger patties.
  • Using a grill or a sauté pan over medium high heat, cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until the burger patties are cooked to the desired doneness.
  • While the burgers are cooking, add the cucumber, carrot, sesame oil, sesame seeds, ponzu and remaining soy sauce to a mixing bowl and stir to coat all ingredients evenly.
  • To plate, add a small drizzle of sriracha and a bit of kimchi on the bottom bun then place a burger patty over the top. Using a fork, scoop some of the cucumber slaw and allow some of the liquid to drain off, then add over top of the burger. Add the top bun, serve hot and enjoy!
